Yesterday was another day where I hardly had time to breathe or be sad about you.. Had to do the PD session with the department, benchmarking thingy with Jenny, followed by China Studies classes, then preparing for the GP Enrichment lecture. i was "invited" by Annie to give the Gp Enrichment lecture this week and I decided on the topic "China, the next Superpower?" As usual I prepared right up to the actual lecture itself, adrenaline definitely pumping high these days.. and the turnout surprised me, LT6 was more packed than I thought, I was expecting 10-20 students since this is optional but I got a lot more..
Thought delivery was OK and hopefully they got my point. It was a good experience for me and I enjoyed the preparation as well as the presentation. Having a rerun on Friday and hopefully that goes well too..
Evening was my usual routine of tuition and heading home for dinner... Frankly I think my parents' lives revolve around me now, and I feel so grateful and am scolding myself for not having appreciate them, guess I've really placed you above everything in our time together and to a large extent you too, so it's a good thing we have found our space... and just like how you won't see this blog, they won't too but i'll say it nonetheless, I love you MUM and DAD!!!
